Cookies

For the broader picture of how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Cookies let a site remember things between visits — like whether you're signed in. Local storage is similar but a little larger, and is used by apps to keep your work safe between sessions.

2. What the site sets today

The DozeDoc website is currently a waitlist site. It sets no persistent cookies, no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party analytics cookies. When you submit the waitlist form, your details are sent to our server in a single request and stored under our Privacy Policy.

3. What the app will use

Once the DozeDoc app is available, it will use the cookies and local-storage entries below. We are listing them here in advance so you know what to expect.

Strictly necessary

These keep the service working. You cannot opt out of them and still use DozeDoc.

Preferences

These remember your settings. They live in local storage, not in cookies sent to our server.

Aggregate analytics

We use a self-hosted, privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and understand which features are used. It does not set a persistent cookie, does not record IP addresses, and does not fingerprint your device.

4. What we don't use

5. How to control cookies

Every modern browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies and local storage. You can usually find these controls under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies above will sign you out and prevent you from using DozeDoc once the app is available.

Clearing local storage will delete any unsynced case drafts on this device. Anything already synced to your account remains safe.

6. Changes

If we add or change a cookie, we'll update this page and bump the version above. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders.
